THE STORY SO FAR

I’m mallorie— a certified MEDIATOR, RESTORATIVE PRACTICIONER, AND conflict resolution coach.

THE NBRHD.

THE NBRHD. 〰️

The mission behind The NBRHD didn’t start as a business. It started as a response.

Growing up, I moved through churches that preached unity — but practiced avoidance. The hard conversations were skipped, taboo topics always off-limits, and walking on eggshells became the culture. When harm inevitably hit home, my story was pushed under the rug in the name of “keeping the peace.”

But silence never saves a community — it just leaves people hurting in the dark.

I participated in mediation in an attempt to reconcile the harm, but what I discovered was something deeper: the healing power of speaking up. That moment laid the foundation for The NBRHD — a vision to build spaces where people can engage in raw dialogue, process harm, and rebuild trust.

I created The NBRHD to make sure no story stays silenced and no community settles for surface-level relationships. We’re a space where the truth is spoken in love— and a home for the conversations many were taught to avoid.

Since 2021, I’ve facilitated 500+ restorative circles and trained over 45 staff in Restorative Practices. In 2023, I was brought in to design and launch a full-scale restorative justice program for the Lansing School District — and I’ve been doing this work ever since.

My credentials include:

  • IIRP-certified Restorative Practices Trainer & Practitioner

  • ICF-ACC Certified Conflict Transformation Coach

  • Court-Certified Domestic Mediator (Michigan)

But more than titles, I carry a calling — to build bridges where there are walls, to bring people back to the table, and to root reconciliation in something deeper. The NBRHD blends evidence-based practices with Biblical values to heal what division has broken.

Because we’re not just starting conversations.
We’re shifting cultures.
One neighborhood at a time.
